Hitachi TR12 Plunge router accessories
Help, please! I just bought a Hitachi TR12 plunge router over EBay. Yesterday it was delivered and the ass who sold it to me has sold it without any accessories. Nothing whatsoever - not even the wrench for changing bits!
Can anyone advise where I can buy the accessories for this router second hand? I understand it's discontinued now, so I don't have much hope of buying it from Hitachi. I also suspect that buying them from the manufacturer will cost the earth.
I'm particularly interested in the fine adjustment knob, the trimmer guide assembly and the straight guide assembly.

Hi Dave,
I bought one off ebay too but mine had all the bits and pieces except for some small thumbscrews to secure the straight guide. While I was looking for the screws (parts 69 and 70 !!!) I came across this website.

I havent had any dealings with them but it may help you identify exactly what your missing and it's model number.

I bought one, same situation except I wanted it for a router table so I didn't need the fence etc. But I checked with Hitachi and the parts are all available. I think it came to about $150 for everything....

...If you don't mind me asking, what would a TR12 go for? PM me if you wish.

As a last resort this may be of some help to you.
Gills Tools in Sydney Rd Coburg, Vic is closing down (not sure what final date is). He was a dealer for Hitachi so may have some spares.Tom

Wolften,
I paid $120 odd (including a router table top) earlier this year on ebay. Hopefully it's as reliable as people say !

Height Winder
I just picked up one of these for my Hitachi TR-12. Well worth every penny, and it is very handy for me on my Triton workstation.
I picked this up through Eagle America (here) while their prices are a bit lower and the Aussie dollar is stronger
