Hitachi vs Metabo - battery drill and impact driver set.
Hi guys,
I'm not sure how to make this decision and would love some advice. I'm in the market for a new drill/driver combo and after my recent experience with an AEG drill, want to get a quality unit with a driver.
My two 18V Li-ion options are this stage are:
1. Hitachi Drill DV18DSFL Driver WH18DSAL - 1 year warranty
2. Metabo Drill BS 18 Driver SSD 18 LT - 3 year warranty.
Both will cost me around $330.
The Hitachi have 1.5aH batteries, and Metabo have 2.2aH.
The Metabo also has battery overload and single cell protection - I like the idea of this as I would have liked it on the AEG batteries. I’m not sure if the Hitachi also has this.
Any opinions – or is there a better option for that price.
Thanks.
