Default Impressed with Ozito Lithium Impact driver

Was at Bunnings to buy some flooring screws and spotted the ozito man demonstrating some tools. For just over $200 I purchased a new lithium 10.8 volt impact driver. I just want to say how impressed I am. Weighs next to nothing and ran sold for the 1 hour I so used it. And it felt like a quality tool. By Friday the lithium cordless drill we be available. I'll probably buy one too. If this is the sort of quality coming out of where ever... it provides big incentives for the DIY people like me to do more.

    My 2 cents.

I have 2 x Ozito battery drills. I treat all battery drills as disposable and buy in pairs.

The problem with all these drills is battery life and longevity. I find that the time I get deteriorates as the thing ages, they often wont hold any charge even unused for a couple of days as they age. Also the anodes corrode and don't make contact.

Seems to happen to all brands, very quickly at the low end and very slowly at the top.

Hence I buy cheapos and chuck after 12 months. Do a cost of owneship over 5 yrs and it makes sense.

Like the wise and sagacious Zed sed, lets see in 6 months
