Ingersoll Rand Compressors
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in the Ingersoll Rand air compressors. Particularly the 10 amp unit.
Are they worth the money?
Thanks
Regards

I have had an ingersol rand compressor and found to work well, good solid unit, there is also a brand called clisby which was recommended to me.the recommendation came from a compressor technician, who said how reliable they are, also don't go undersize on the unit,a common mistake-I KNOW!

Sasha,
Ingersoll Rand is probably one of the biggest compressor manufacturers in the world. A lot of the large industrial screw compressors and vane compressors (those big trailer mounted units that run jack hammers) are made by IR. Clisby also makes excellent compressor pumps, but they tend to be a bit noisier than the IR. Not sure exactly which model you are referring to. A lot of manufacturers build their own brand of compressors and use a IR or Clisby pump, I've got a CIG branded unit, but the manual that came with it was printed by IR. It's given me 18 years of faithful service (I think I changed the oil once ) more than ten years of which it lived on the back of a ute or the front of a tool trailer with only a bit of tarp over it.
