    Default JET enclosed based supersaw in Melbourne

    I've done a bit of a search and found only one Jet outlet. Anyone know who cuts a good deal over there with Jet stuff?

    I've used the Woodworking Warehouse for Jet stuff (I bought my CE spec Supersaw from them during their pre-WWW show special day), and have found them to be helpful.

    I bought mine from Gary Pye woodturning in QLD. He also has good freight rates.

    There are 2 'basic' sources for Jet gear in Australia - the 'Woodman Group' who seem to have one representative per state, and Gary Pye. As far as I can find out, both import direct from the Jet factory in Taiwan.

    I would have thought that the Woodman Group dealers could afford to cut a better deal due to bulk purchasing, but for some reason they seem to be a few hundred dollars over Gary Pye across the board.

    Indeed - they know that the freight in an individual item QLd - Vic is about that, so increase accordingly.:mad: Anyone going to Taiwan?
