joining 100mm flex to 100mm PVC and the meaning of life ver1.01
I was at Carbatec yesterday and 'found' a new 100mm flexible dust hose fitting. I realised it was the answer to my problem of joining 100mm flexible hose to 100mm PVC piping.
The problem ...
pic 1 shows how neatly I taped all of the joints and ...
pic 2 shows what they look like after they've fallen out a few times and been retaped ...

The answer ....
pic 1 is the fitting
pic 2 is the fitting 'modified'
pic 3 the fitting glued into a short length of 100 mm PVC
pic 4 and screwed into the 100 mm flex and ...
pic 5 is how the joint looks now ...

Used adapter sockets PVC to E/W to join my flex.
Anglewood.
Some get older and wiser,others just get older.

Neat. Thanks Fletty. How much for the joiner?
