Jointer spiral cutter heads
has anyone seen one of these spiral cutter heads for Jointers. They are using carbide tips instead of the HSS single blades.
I saw an article in FWW a couple of months ago but i didn't buy the mag. If someone did can they tell me what the article had to say about them.. Good or bad.
There seemed if i recall a hell of a lot of tips to set up initially so i don't see it as cheap proposition at the start.

we used them on our though feed moulder, for square dressing. it improved feed rates and provided an average finish. more of a pain than any thing all the little knives, its just easier to replace the three in a std cutter head.
maybe not worth the outlay unless your existing head is stuffed.
