Jigs for thicknessing narrow boards
I have read about the possibility of thicknessing the thin edges of boards by stacking a number of boards sideways and ensuring that they stay upright as they go through the thicknesser.
I would be interested in any jigs or clamping methods people use to hold such boards together.
I am thinking about the possibility of using a length of 42 x 19mm pine running down each side of the sideways stack. The pine would be longer than the boards to be thicknessed and have a bolt running from one to the other clamping all the boards together. The bolts would be parrallel to the base of the thicknesser and of course nowhere near the blades.
Any thoughts?

Mat, I use a few strips of double sided tape between the boards when I want to thickness narrow strips, or if I only have one strip I tape it to the side of a wider sacrificial board.

Mat, I will just rip it on a tablesaw and clean it with a plane.
