Lamello still a joy to use
Since the Domino arrived in My workshop, My Lamello has been on the top shelf I have a rule, if a tool is good, I never sell it. The Domino is now "Top Dog" here
Anyway, Got the Lamello down today, to level up some boards for glue-up.
The nice thing about Biscuits is, they are everywhere. I can go to any diy shop and pick up a packet and they are cheap
I had forgotten what a bloody nice machine this Lamello is. The plunge is so smooth (smoother than my domino) and 100% chip free, its a real quality tool. Did a lovely job of leveling the boards. Thats about all I would use it for now (since the domino can do everything else better)
So the Lamello is back to the middle shelf, and will be used for board glue-ups
If You have a good tool, don't sell it, It'll always be there waiting for you to reach for it

I hear ya mate! You got a Lamello? A real one? Golden cutting head on a Metabo body? They're simply the best. Would love one. I use an Elu DS 140 and sometimes my Freud. Lignum sold his a few days after getting a Domino and I said back then he's mad. Sell me bickie-jointer? No way...
Is it wrong to be in love with a sawbench?
