Question To users of Dremel Multi-Max

    Hi Good Peoples,

I was undoing the screw that holds the accessories in place when I dropped the dam thing into a crevice where it is (almost) impossible to retrieve.

Its a simple screw that uses a hex key. Can some kind user of this device please let me know the length and thickness of the screw so I can get a replacement.

If I have to get the original from Dremel, it has to be ordered in via a retailer, so it will be easier if I can pick up a generic one that fits.

    Cheers

If all else fails, take the tool into a fastener place, and they will help you out. I have found them to be really helpful in the past with trying different things until I got the correct fit (although the hex bolt I had once that had a metric thread and imperial key was a puzzle for them, and I had to end up with a purely metric one - not a huge drama)
The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".
