Let there be light
For some of us older members of the forum, one of the first signs of physical weakness is eyesight. This affects us in many ways such as not being able to see a scribed line or the point of a tool without very bright light.
I found out that you could now buy standard Edison screw halogen lamps and so fitted one into my drill press. The lamp is 50W 240V and gives terrific light so I thought I would share this with others who may suffer the same problem.
What's that, was I the last to know!!!

That light fitting is a great idea, Trevor. Did the drill come with it, or did you install it?
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

Like the light and the chuck key chain , I put a magnet on the pully cover to hold the chuck key , but never remember to put it there, its marvelous the real good places I can find to put that chuck key ,
Think i'll fit a chain
