The more things change, the more they remain the same?

I do have a lots of products resources back in mainland China. An expert, maybe one of you, can help me to target on some specific products and markets.

Leon, I've been accused of being too serious. I have a reputation for being impatient with silly dribble, and obviously, this is a very serious proposal. Please consider me your ideal potential partner. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the blade business and have no money to contribute to this worthwhile venture - but I am serious! Oh, I live in Melbourne.

Upgrade:confused: What on earth do you mean. I live in one of the world's most liveable cities, or is that Vancouver this year? Never mind, I live there during the southern winter anyway.

If I wanted a million, is it AU dollars or US dollars well never mind, I would not be spending my free time doing wood working. In fact we all know you must have a least that much to do wood working properly. In fact people that do not do wood working find there monies go stale and is eaten up by inflation.
Well my bank acount is building up so I better get out and convert some of it to sawdust.
    Cheers Ron.

Default Thanks for the response guys

    Hi guys,
I am sorry that I can not response to everyone's comments. But I can give some general information about myself.
I am a Chinese migrated here two years ago. Now I am working as a Project Manager in a trading company at Sydney. I am taking charge of the China Project. I am a qualified accountant both in China and UK. I also passed the related law test in Australia.
As a young man, I have been always thinking about doing some business myself. My kitchen&bathroom company with two other Chinese partners will start next month . I am the minority shareholder with 20% and taking charge on issues like products sourcing, accounting, business negotiation. We have been planning this project for about 6 month. so far so good. I hope I can have good luck at this dog year.

Tools and machine business has lots of potential and the margin is very high. I have two friends have their own factories. But I will not buy products from them, they are too small. The only suppliers I will consider is the top class manufacturer in China. I am quite good at business negotiate, I can always get a good price. Although at this time I am not so good at negotiate with English, but things will change, just a matter of time.

I remember one gentleman bet $200 that I will not invest one cent in this venture. haha ,I hope other friends can play this game with him. And this friend, you will lose your money. I am not a millionair. But I think I have enough money to start a business like this, and I am going to invest it. As I know such business, you do not need to invest a huge capital.

I am sure there is a huge market and profit in this industry. I hope I can find a partner somewhere. I will continue this effort for two month. After I come back from China( April I will have a business trip there), If I still have not find a suitable partner. Iwill do it myself. study the products myself. It will take some time, but I will become an expert after some time. I know it.
Ok. I do not know what you guys what to know anything else from me.
    good night guys
    All the best
    Leon

    G'day Leon
How many Australian Dollars would I need to invest in your venture if I came on board?
I am a Dragon and I think you said you were a Dog so we can not work together but I would still like to know how much money.
    cheers

    Leon -

I am still keen to know exactly how much money you personally intend to sink into this venture. The amount riding on it will have a lot to do with your personal commitment to it.
