    Unhappy Looking for...

A boatbuilders "slick" {large chisel type instrument} and "adaz" {kinda sorta like an axe... sorta} anyone have a clue where Id find these? Ive tried all the usual places but with no luck... either new or secondhand will do as long as they are in good nick.

Have a line on a couple of old secondhand drawknives but if that falls through will need some of them as well... I see Timbercon has these but would like alternative places to look and price...

Clues hints or ideas on where Id find these tools would be appreciated

    Thanks
    Shane

Look on USA ebay (ebay.com) for a slick. They are Expensive (I get the impression that they are a "fashion" statement for many woodworkers). Typically around $120 USD. I see an adaz come up on Oz ebay (ebay.com.au) every now and then.

I don't know what an adaz is. You don't mean an adze do you? This is sort'a like an axe but with the blade sideways on to the handle.
