lubrication
OK, now I have a decent saw, I'm a bit more interested in keeping it in good nick (and Im noticing a bit of rust on my ml-392).
Doing a bit of search, it seems that u-beauts wax is being used for jointer and saw table tops. Previously I used to use parafin wax bought from timbecon, but I used this mainly just to get the timber to slide over the surface better. Should I be discarding this and just using trad wax?
When researching for the tsc10hb I saw on the onlinetoolsreview that Inox is recommended for lubricating the saw parts.
Is this also good for lubricating the sled for the fence?
Also, what do you use for bandsaw blades? I don't really want oil or gunk on them, but they are definately getting a bit rusty.
Has anyone got better ideas now?
cheers
RB
