    Default Makita 3600BR give away - suitable for parts

    I have a Makita 3600BR that I think has gone open circuit and I'm not interested in sorting it out. I am happy to give it away for parts but I don't want to have to go and package the thing up and go to the post office as I could only do this on a Saturday morning and have too many other things to do these days. If some one wants to pick it up or if local I can drop it off at night and they could distribute it as parts. There is no guide rail and the switch is broken but the rest seems fine. She turns freely and I have opened it to bypass the switch and it seems OK inside. In keeping with Qld Electricity Safety Act I am giving it away as parts. Munruben is close too me so maybe he could help

    If by some stroke of luck it is the same model as mine I would love it. Ours still works fine, but was on the edge of the house fire we had and the case is fused shut and a couple of bits need replacing. Label was burnt off it, so will get back to you shortly, will look up your model.

    Sorry to hear about the fire (Hmmm still got to put smoke detector in the shed) and I wish this one had been suitable. Best of wishes with the hunt.
