Pointing out the obvious but have you removed the securing screw number 10 ?

Are there any puller screw holes in the side of the fan?

What is the fan made of - plastic parts like these are often made undersize in the shaft bore to make them an interference fit on the shaft.

Just noticed a picture of the fan on that site you linked to.

It appears to have a blind hole in it for the armature shaft - probably to make it easy to set the housing clearance by pressing it on till it bottoms out.

First thing would be to try to pull it off directly maybe by gripping the blades with a couple of vicegrips while someone holds the rest.

Failing that I think you might have to drill a clearance hole through the boss to expose the end of the armature shaft and then try a small two leg puller or else clamp the fan and drift throught the hole on the end of the shaft.

Depending on the fit of the new part, you might have to support the other end of the armature shaft when reassembling - knocking it on may damage the bearing housings.

    Good luck.

I note your fan is slightly different to the US picture and has what appears to be a metal centre - you'll have to work out if that is the armature shaft or part of the fan hub.

Depending on the clearance under the fan, you might be able to get a puller to fit under the outer edge or more likely in the openings around the hub - the alignment of the fan blades may make going to a 3 leg puller necessary.

If clearance is limited, you might have to make up a puller or set of legs if you already have one from thin bar stock or similar - I doubt if much force would be req'd to remove it so it should be easy to fabricate a simple tool.

Of course you will have to decide if it's worth doing this/buying more tools or just take it in to a repair shop.

I can't see what is actually wrong with your fan - is it cracked??

It is part of fan hub.

My curious where am I going to support the central part of the 3 leg puller ?

Fo me it is worth it , because those tools would not disposable tools that I am going to use them once, I would make benefit

    - is it cracked??
It is not broken (missing part), but it has crack

You will have to centre punch and drill the outer end of the fan hub to get to the end of the armature shaft - being careful not to drill too deep and ruin the shaft. You probably won't need a hole as big as the screw of the puller - you could use a small phillips head machine screw/bolt as an extension (fitting loosely through the hole) to bear against the shaft and then push on that.

Could be easier to just use a punch through the hole while gripping the fan securely.

    Good luck.
