    Many thanks for those who replied. It would appear no one has yet purchased one. I'll stick to the 10" Makita. I'll see if the tool retailers afre prepared to do a decent deal at Sydney show.

    And Sandman, I haven't heard that expression but I'll certainly remember it. Thanks again

    Geoff,

    Yes it certainly looks very similar.
    If that clone drops as smoothly as the makita and the runners are equally smooth, then it would be an awesome saw and one would be questioning Makita's exploded price with some concern I would imagine.
