I recently got my shirt caught in my Mkita 1900B planer. Gave me a bit of an anadenalin surge and I will definitely be more carefull in the future.following the incident I spent half an hour getting the remains of the shirt out and then the planer was very noisy. The planer blades had been forced out of position so I dismantled the plane to the point where I have the armature and the blade rotor free of the body but still retained in the aluminium side plate. I want to change the bearings as they are a bit noisy, the problem is getting the pulleys off- do you need a special puller as the clearance between the pulleys and the side plate is very small, or can they be wedged out by using a wooden wedge or 2 between the side plate and the pulley side? I would be gratefull if anyone can help. And take care fellers it can happen, I've been using this planer for about 15 years and this is the first time I have caught anything in it.-------Billspin
