    Exclamation Medalist Brad Nailer / Finishing Stapler

    G'day all,

    Just in case you have been thinking about a cheap pneumatic Nail Gun or Finishing Stapler. The kits comes with 200 Brads and 100 Finish Staples (18g) Oil, Protective Glasses and a carry case.

    I picked up one of these guns from Bunning's a week ago for $139.00 and after testing it with some Brads found that driver blade (given it needs to be wide enough to also drive finishing staples) damages the timber. So if you want a clean job, then I would suggest looking at just a nail gun. (I personally returned it and changed it over for the Medalist Brad Nailer ($99.00 from Bunning's).

    The depth is adjustable simply by adjusting the compressor air flow - I found that 60psi would provided the best results for use with pine.

    In the end I was not happy with the driver blade damaging the timber so I am now just using a Brad Nailer.
