Melb shopping trip for more tools
I'm down in Melbourne next week and intend to do a recce at the "stores" for the following:
- a Powermatic chisel mortiser (stand alone unit with perhaps a tilting head)
- a new table saw, possibly a Powermatic PM 2000 (overhead dust extraction and outfeed support worries me a bit)
- alternatively, a Felder or Minimax saw for ripping
- a spindle moulder or a decent router table
- a two stage cyclone DE
The wood show is not far away and no doubt the prices will drop then. But I do want to make the best decisions I can - so any comments very welcome.

Jeff,
If I were you, I'd ring around first rather than cold call visit the shops. It is worthwhile asking what they have in stock - and setup on the floor to look at.
The WW shops are spread around Melbourne a bit and you can spent a fair bit of time driving around. (Carba-Tec and WWWhouse are reasonably close together, although you wouldn't want to walk it).
Good luck with the shopping.

Sorry Gra,
But what's the Wongo lunch?
What are you guys keeping secret from the rest of us? (Otherwise, excuse my slackness in not keeping check on the notice boards).
