Milwaukee Cordless Drill Chuck
This is just a heads up on chucks for these drills and nothing more than that. I was talking to a service guy yesterday who repairs small tools and he told me that if a chuck gives problems on one of these drills you cannot replace it with a different make of chuck because the thread is unique to Milwaukee and the chucks give a lot of problems in his experience.

Thanks for the LATE information Chris!!! One of the blokes at work "borrowed" mine, and now the only way
I can keep a drill bit tight, is to put the chuck into the vise and tighten it by twisting the drill around.

A few years ago I needed to replace my Panasonic drill and their factory at Fukushima was wiped out in the tsunami. So I went to a reputable repairer of power tools for some advice. He pointed to all the stuff that was in for warranty claims or repair and he said he calls them Red Rubbish. Go and buy a Makita. So I did and 2 years later Panasonic brought out their new Lithium battery range.
BTW, I have been fully satisfied with the Makita, can't believe how long the battery's have lasted.
Rgds,
Crocy.

Makes me very happy that purchased both Dewalt and Makita corded drills.
