    Default Milwaukee SCMS MS305DB

    Hello all,

Like many others I am in the market for a SCMS. I have owned a GMC and a Ryobi and burnt both out fairly quickly so I thought I might spring for a decent quality one. I'm not a tradesman but spend a lot of time on renos and making the odd piece of furniture so I would be looking for an all rounder.

My research to date would indicate that most are stoked with the Makita (at least the old one anyway) but the Milwaukee has taken my eye. I understand it is a new model (at least to Australia) and is probably untested.

Is there anybody who can give me advice about their quality and/or suitability for my applications, should I stick with Makita or do you have another recommendation.

The Milwaukee is currently available for about a grand with a stand included which appeals to me.

    Many thanks in advance.

Try the reviews on Amazon. Plenty of 'em.
Those were the droids I was looking for.
