Nailguns and nails
I stumbled across a thread in the archives about trying to find 32mm nails for a Dewalt 16g angled nailer. Does anyone know of where to get Dewalt nails or Paslode 32mm angled without the fuel cell in Melbourne? I have a Dewalt DC619 and want 32mm nails. I have found someone in Sydney who will do the Paslode without fuel cells but it will cost me an extra $20 for postage. Anything in Melbourne please???

Hi and welcome,
This mob is not in Melbourne or Sydney but in Queenbeyan.
Graham's - Australia's Trade Supplier
Login and find what you want and postage is calculated. I have used them before and their service was great.

Have you tried Bunnings? They usually have 2 sections with gun nails. One is at the trade desk and the other is in the tool shop which has a bigger range of smaller gun nails.
Otherwise most timber and hardware places such as Bowens should have them in stock.I came, I saw, I constructed

Thanks but the only nails I can see on their site that are 32mm angled are Senco and I dont think they suit the Dewalt gun.

I tried Bunnungs. They only had thre Paslode with the fuel cell. I'll try a few other places. My problem seems to be you cant actually get the Dewalt 32mm angled nails over here and it's hard getting the Paslode without the fuel cell.

Grahams actually sell the DeWalt DC619 so they should have nails for it. Just send them a message.

Contacted Grahams. They dont stock the Dewalt 32mm nails and no longer stock Paslode nails as the fuel cells that come with them had too short a shelf life. So, still no luck.

Paslode, Senco and Dewalt all use the same 16 gauge nails and I've never had a problem getting them in Melbourne. I know Bunnings and Bowens do keep them in stock because I buy all my nails from them most of the time.
What part of Melbourne are you in?I came, I saw, I constructed

Yes, if you get the 20 degree 16 guauge nails they will fit. Most brands of gun nails are interchangeable with other brands so dont worry too much if it doesnt say Dewalt on the box. Take the gun with you if you want to be sure they are the right ones.
A few places I can suggest near Doncaster that should have them in stock are:
Bowens - 352 Dorset Road, Croydon - (03) 9723 0394
Kingston Tool Supply - 97 Cavanagh St, Cheltenham - (03) 9583 0675
Alltools - 907 Princes Hwy, Springvale - (03) 9546 6044
And as mentioned earlier, your local Bunnings (look at both tool shop and trade desk).
Let us know how you go.
Cheers

I have finally found the 32mm Dewalt angle nail at the B&D Dewalt service centre in Mooroolbark. I know it doesnt need to be Dewalt but at least I dont have to worry about finding Paslode without the fuel cell etc. And, I'm on the right side of town for them. Thanks for everyone's help.
