Default Opinions - Paslode T250S-F16 brad nailer. Any good?

    G'day all,

I have a series of big jobs coming up that will require the use of a brad nailer. I've never used nails let alone a brad nailer as everything is always finely finished.

There are 5 distinct jobs using MDF with glueing. To hold some parts in place brads seem the best option. There will be a lot of simultaneous parts and clamping isn't an option.

Do people here consider The Paslode T250S-F16 a decent nailer? It does fine 1.6mm (16 gauge) brads from 15 to 65mm in length and reviews well. The price seems reasonable.

I don't need it for anything more than this, if I need a bigger gun I'll buy it. It's for the workshop only.

Opinions here matter more than on some spam filled paid-opinion site. I don't mind paying good money, or even very good money, for a quality tool that will last.

Can't comment directly on this gun, but I've used other Paslode tools and they seem to be well made.

I can highly recommend the Airco TT64 (19-63mm 16ga nails), got one at work and it'll happily fire all day. Ours came with a belt clip which is ridiculously, awesomely convenient too. Not sure if it comes standard but if you're going to be using it a lot, get one. VEK Tools have it on special at the moment for $290 which is half RRP http://www.vektools.com.au/airco-air...er-p-8964.html
