Default Why no paslode full head framing nails?

I got some 30 degree paper tape paslode nails off ebay a while back which were from an Aus source shop but nails were imported from US. Thing is that these nails have a full size offset head - not a D head. Why can't you buy similar in Aust hardware shops? Have they different building codes in the US? Seems a no-brainer that a full head nail is better than half a head.

I am not sure, but I think that only duofast make a full head nail and they are plastic stripped.

For framing purposes full head or d head the difference is negligible

As far as I know the Paslode IM90i gas gun takes a full round head nail and these are available at most tool shops
