Paslode and Full Head Nails
Hi...I recently bought a Paslode (gas) 900420 30 degree angled framing nailer from the US.
I note that it does fire full round head nails in the manual (Roundrive) as well as D-clip...however on talking to a nail distributor in Melbourne, they can't help as it appears no-one does a 30degee paper collated nail....I see that Paslode Aus's website has a whole section under"Nails..Round Head Strip Nails" but no picture.
Can anyone tell me if I can get nails to suit within Victoria?
Also I assume that there is no problem using a 30-34 degree nail in the gun?
I'll give Paslode Aus a ring in the morning...but it would be good if I was prepared...they will probably tell me I should have bought an Australian one and saved the grief...I'd like to use my gun to do palings...IF I can get the round nails, does anyone have any comment on this use?

If I was a fencer I'd use an air powered coil nailer. I reckon they're less temperamental, and it would be cheaper not having to buy gas cartridges with the volume of nailing required in fencing.
Gas guns are good for a chippie who's climbing around on a roof, and doesn't want to get tangled up in air hose.
