Default How much are you prepared to pay?

Here is a nice little plane that may interest someone:
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....romZR40QQfviZ1

Still has over 3 days to go and is only up to $3220:00
Still plenty of time for you to put in a bid.

I wonder if it comes with a set of steak knives?

Default Screw need for a stanley plane

Ern, advertised on this forum for the above.

He could just purchase this and the screw might fit.
    regards

Whatever you thought it was worth probably wasn't enough.
This little number sold for a mere $5,153.72
    Ouch!

    Hi Tom

Thanks for the heads up. I'm afraid that I could not get SWMBO to OK the purchase, and she had not bought enough pairs of shoes this month to use leverage. Damn!

So I am building my own ...

    Where I am up to.

The point being, the pictures from eBay are useful references for this project.

    The eBay Norris #31 ..

    Default Positively Cheap

I suppose the final price for the Norris makes this one look positively cheap:
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&ih=011

Over twice the price of a Lie Nielsen and far more fragile.
This one will probably never again be used.
Seems a great shame to me.
