Any particular reason for posting that? Did you have a bad experience?

I did google it out of curiosity and the reviews are less than kind.

Basically they seem to operate on an 'out-of-sight-out-of-mind' basis. If they have the goods in stock and you can take them with you they are great, good prices etc. But if its a back order or on-line order, service is very hit-or-miss. If you ever go to their head office you can see where part of the problem lies - a dozen or so operators on the phone continuously taking orders, stock in piles to the ceiling and a couple of guys picking and packing.

Yes, Sadly. When you order tools and find out 2 weeks later, after numerous phone calls and emails that not only have they not been dispatched yet, but are not in stock, kind of makes you wonder about customer service at some of these companies. Look after your customer and he will be a returning customer.

I've gotta agree. I bought a Dewalt SCMS from them recently. Checked the web site and found what I wanted. I did not order from the web page but phoned them direct and placed the order. I was told that they were in stock as you would expect, because they were advertised as on special. When it did not arrive on the arranged date one week later, I phoned them. They were very casual (they had my money) and said it was on its way and would phone me back. No phone call, so I phoned again to be told that they were not in stock. No apology and no concern. I spoke to a boss and was assured a saw was on it's way and it did arrive a week later. The two spare blades came over a week later. Beaut saw, but if I was a tradie I would be spewing. I won't use them again. I'll support the local bloke.
My son on the other hand uses them regularly and has never had a problem with them. Perhaps because he orders the run of the mill chippy stuff.

I have had both good and bad experiences with them. When they are good, most of time, they are very good.
When they are bad, they are not just bad, they are f****** terrible. When that happens and something goes wrong with an order, customer service? They don't know the meaning of the words and don't give a toss. They seem to be just interested in taking the next order/sale. If they are a target based incentive, its easier and much quicker to make more sales, rather than fix up something that has gone wrong.Cheers
