Rockwell contr rotating circular saw - Mitre 10
Local Mitre10 has those Rockwell 2 bladed contrarotating circular saws for $100
What are they good for ? Has anybody used one ?
Seems like a complicated gizmo - do the teeth ever get bent and crash into eachother ?
Rockwell 1050w Contra Saw Demonstration - YouTube if this video is to be believed it seems quite versatile ?

I have seen ads for the similar dualsaw on TV. The Original DUAL SAW | Twin Blade Counter Rotating Technology | Australia and New Zealand Note that there is no price on the website.
Bear in mind that these saws have got a small depth cut that is as far as I am aware not adjustable.
Like any hand held tool they will only cut in a straight line if you can guide them in a straight line.
Not sure if you are able to fit any dust extraction to them. Also note the may the blade guard is almost always held completely out of the way most of the time.
Remember TV ads and infomercials will only show you how great they are without any negatives. Are spare blades available? One TV add says they cut metal without sparks, yet I can see some sparks.
It may do the job of multiple other tools, but does not mean it does it as well.
