    Default Which ROS ???

My sander packed it in yesterday and I am now looking to buy a new ROS today and was wondering if anyone could help with some advice on which ones are good to get and which I should stay clear of.
    Thanks in advance

I've got a Metabo, very happy with it, good German machine without the price of Festo.

I have the Festo, which is very good, but for the price the Duo (Metabo seems good value), If you are keen on a Festo, enquire about the 125mm model it is quite a bit cheaper. Otherwise the Bosch (Blue) series 150mm seems to get good reviews.

    happy looking

    Metabo Duo got my vote.
light vibration so you can use it for ages without you hand/arm going numb.
Good dust extraction when hooked to a vac.
2 x orbits (hence name) 6mm for fast wood removal 3mm for fine finishing.

I did my research at the WWW show 2 years ago and used quite a few, the only one that compared was the festo, but rich I aint!

Thanks for all your help fellas.
I ended up getting a Bosch 400AE - the Metabo was "just a smidgen too pricey" for SWMBO. An extra $100 to be exact so opted for the next best thing and was 'allowed' to get the Bosch. Have been using it for about an hour now and works an absoloute treat - Variable speed and only light vibrations too. Am very impressed.
Again thanks to all those that replied.
