Default Gutted! My Blue Hawk 23 gauge 25 mm Pin Nailer piffing out on me. Help Please!

After finally getting the air compressor leaks sealed and mastering its usage,

My Blue Hawk 23 gauge 25 mm Pin Nailer piffing out on me.

I used up all my 25mm pins. 300 pins.

Then maybe 20 pins into my 18mm pins
the nailer started sounding like someone spitting out a small seed from their mouth.
Kink of like a week "piff".

Checked air compressor with other attachments found to be working fine.

Any suggestions on diagnosis and repair would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks,

Have you been lubricating the gun before use? Also check it has not misfired a pin and it is not jammed in the gun, my gun does this occasionally and I have to strip the head down to get the pin out.

When the pin is hammed in your gun,
does triggering the gun sound like a pathetic "piff" instead of a "bang"?

I can't recall as it has been a while since it happened.

Opening up the front of the gun to check for jammed pins is pretty easy. Usually only 2 screws (or in some cases a clip) to undo and the front cover comes off.
If it is only making a "piff" then it sounds like the piston is not moving which is usually caused by a jamb or lack of lubrication on the piston.
