    Default Rubio one cordless chuck

used this faithful tool on a job that was too much for it. somewhere along I got a small drill bit jammed up the Khyber of the Chuck and now Chuck is very hard to use.
I know these drills are not worth the kings ransom but is it worth (if possible) removing the Chuck and replacing with new/ better quality one

I guess you mean it's a Ryobi One+ drill? I have no insights into whether it would be worth replacing the chuck, but I did wonder for a while what a 'Rubio one cordless chuck' is.

It was put onto the drill in the first place, therefore it's got to come of.

Have you bothered to 'do a google' to see if there is a PDF showing the breakdown of all the parts of the drill ?
