    Default Ryobi band saw HBS100 - wheel-idler MB6A - 028

Chasing up a Ryobi part for an older band saw for my Dad - can you help us out, or know someone who could? Bought the saw second hand about 15 years ago, and unable to find spare parts in Lismore NSW.

    Bandsaw specifications

    Ryobi 100mm (4") capacity Bandsaw HBS100
Can't find a serial number anywhere

    Need Part # 10, Wheel-idler, Part # MB6A - 028 (0) - 1 only required.

Appreciate any pointers to tracking down this spare!

    Rob.

According to Ryobi's website you order it through Bunnings Special order desk.

    From their FAQ
Can I get spare parts for my RYOBI tool?

    Yes.
Spare parts for any of our RYOBI products are generally available for order through your local Bunnings' Special Orders Desk. Please ensure you know your model no. when requesting a spare part, as not all products are the same.

However, if your RYOBI tool needs to be repaired - we recommend that you should visit your nearest Authorised Service Centre.

    Peter.

There's a very good chance that I can help you out here.

While I'm not 100% certain of the model number at the moment, I'm pretty sure I have one of these (already missing some parts) in storage that I was planning on using the motor and table from. Let me have a look on Saturday and get back to you.

I've hunted down a PDF manual with that part number and description but because the images are very blurry I can't quite make out which bit it is that you're after.

In the photo attached of mine, is it the top wheel assembly? This wheel also has the complete guide, shaft and bearing attached to the back.

Thanks! Will give this a go - have asked at Bunnings locally but haven't tried the special order desk ...
    Always worth asking though.

Dad is back from his trip this week and confirms that the top wheel assembly is what he wants. Can he get in touch with you direct or would you prefer he register on the forum?
    Cheers Rob.

    I'd forgotten about this

I'll shoot your dad an email and figure out how to get it to him.
