    Default Ryobi re-1600 router

Is any one familiar with this router? It's on special at one of our stores, less than half the price of a similarly spec'd Triton router.
Good idea, bad idea? I don't own a router and was thinking of getting a 2nd hand Makita until I saw this one advertised.

If you run it for a few hours after you buy it, and it breaks, just get it swapped or your money back. You've basically got six months to burn it out and you can still demand a refund, so it's probably worth a shot.

Check the collet capacity. "2.7"mm might be useless however 12.7mm would be beneficial. I am not sure how many bits are available for 10mm but 6.35mm like 12.7mm is a pretty standard size.

It actually does have a 12.7mm collet, I think they just made a typo on their website.
