    Question Ryobi spares

    Good evening non klutzes

    Like an idiot, I didn't clamp down my Ryobi SCMS when working outside. Of course, I knocked it with the end of a rafter I was moving and it did a Humpty Dumpty.

    I have broken the casting where the saw pivots. Where do you get spares?

    Smile Ryobi Parts - Bunnings are usually the agents

    Hi Ivanavitch

    According to the Ryobi Australia website, Ryobi - Service Centre, there are various service agents in most locations.

    In WA however I recently found no-one handles them anymore other than Bunnings who now appear to be the sole retailers for new machines and parts.
    You need to go to special orders at Bunnings - I just hope your machine is not too old however as parts are sometimes discontinued.

    You may need to hassle to get some sense out of them (too busy making annoying commercials perhaps??) as it took months for me to try to get a new drive belt for a belt sander, then was told (after my direct contact with Ryobi (TTI - Techtronic Industries)) that they no longer supply the part!

    Fortunately (for spares) it's less than 6 months old. Unfortunately (for my angst) it's less than 6 months old. Still swearing.

    I'll try to get a part number and go to Bunnings. Haven't been there since yesterday, and the day before etc.
