This is a question I just have to ask. A few years ago I bought a GMC SCMS. It was a 250mm model with twin laser lights. I first thought it was the bees knees. It did everything I wanted, except that the three seperate beds were not level. The left side table was 1.4mm low and the right side table was 0.7mm low from the central table.

I felt this was not acceptable and returned it. Now I have discovered that all 3 piece table SCMS's are the same regardless of price and wish I still had it. The single round table Makita saws and copies are the only one that are accurate.

My question is what have other forumites discovered in relation to this and what is your opinion. My step son has a very old Hitachi SCMS which is level. He offered it to me then changed his mind as he uses it a bit in his work as a plasterboard fixer, due to the fact that sometimes carpenters forget to do stuff and he has to do it or he has nothing to fix the plaster to.
