    Default SCMS Brag

G'day everyone. Long time no see. Still beavering away on the extension. Into the reno part now. The new roof is on and looks great.

The only reason I've dropped in tonight is to brag about my new SCMS I bought today from savings achieved in my building project. The good side of being an owner/builder..

    Here she is:
    A Hitachi 10"
    ( really quiet)

and a nice really solid stand.

    a grand the lot.

    Where have you been, Sheddy?

I've been making disparaging comments about you for months - no bites!

    Nice saw.

G'Day Shedhand, Hitachi is one of my prefered brands but then again it's a personel thing, if I had just bought it I'd be a happy chappie too!...

You didn't mention the stand had wheels!

The Hitachi are a great piece of kit. That is a good deal for a grand.

G'day Groggy. Yep it has those flipup wheels 'good quality'. The rollers have sealed bearings.
Already given it a tough workout today.

    Cheers

    disparaging - spell it numbskull.

Been adding to the house as you can see in the background. Owner/builder/labourer/gofer.

Cost me less than 40% of the last quote I had from builders. Saved enought to re-roof the whole house, build a new laundry and toilet. Also bought some new tools.

Be back on a regular basis soon hopefully and can't wait to get some quality shed time. The shed is a brothel. Junk from the project everywhere. Dirt, sawdust, supplies. It'll take me a month to clean it up. At least SWMBO can't see the stuff i've bought for all the crapola laying around.

See ya round like a rissole.
    Cheers

    Hi Sheddy,

I haven't answered the poll because my answer would be along the lines of "Yes, I think you have done well, but no I don't especially want or need one".

Hitatchi is a well respected brand and should provide lots of reliable and quality work (usual provisos about "user error" notwithstanding)

Like Ian Makita LS1013 so all the units of that quality are about the same, Now bet you can't work out how you did without one all this time
