As I only have a garage to work from (double) my advice would be to go mobile, put everything on wheels, even the wood rack (my next project). Make sure you have a flat shed base. That way you can be flexible. My small problem is power points, I don't have nearly enough and have to run leads all over the place.

somewhere on this forum, someone came up with a really practical idea which I am doing tommorrow. It goes something like this, a length of vinyl coated wire clothes line anchored at one end of the shed up out of the way with and eye bolt, the line is fed through, looped and secured with cable anchor bolts. Same at the other end except a turnbuckle is between the eyebolt and line loop (for tensioning). Metal curtain rings are slipped on the cable during assembly and extension cord is secured to rings (cable ties), one end is long enough (hanging down) to reach a power point and the other is long enough (hanging down) to accept power board, tools etc..The rings allow the cord to slide along to any point in the shed and to be just pushed back for storage instead of winding up cords. I am sorry I can't give credit to the original member by name, but thanks it's a top idea!..

P.S. I have fitted a power board to the end of my workbench with an extension cord pre-fitted (Kambrook I think), where ever the bench is I have 4 outlets.savage(Eric)
