    Thumbs up Info on core drill

    I want some info on how to use core drill on the floor right at the junction to the wall ( as 90 degree Right angle) depth of 600mm Dia hole of200mm
    I want to buy a cheap core drill any make , but as to fit to edge of the wall to drill i want info if any web page for diy,what all the safety aspects and where can i buy cheap in sydney?I will appreciate you time and thank you .

    Hmmmm 200mm dia able to do 600mm deep... wont be cheap, hiring would be a lot cheaper.
    And by the looks 400mm is about max depth they make, you would need to remove the first 200mm of concrete.

    600 mm is seriously deep. Much deeper than the typical residential slab or commercial floor. Heck, a concrete road is typically only 450mm thick

    does the hole have to be a perfectly round?
    how much overbreak can you accept?
    one option is a series of partly overlapping smaller diameter holes on the surface and then an SDS hammer drill to go the full depth

    Are there structural issues with what you intend drilling through, reinforcing steel and the like?
