Where to Get Split Depth Collars
Hi Folks,
I've just finished a small project that involved a lot of dowelling. I used Haron drill bit depth stops and found them to be useless as I couldn't get them to tighten without twisting - IMHO, a very poor design.
I'd like to get some Split Depth Collars like these Split Depth Collars for Drills - Lee Valley Tools
Anyone know where to get these or something like them?
Cheers,
Chris

Get some big sized piece of dowell or similar, cut to length and drill a hole through it then put it on the drill bit. Tape around the drill bit works as well but is obviously not a positive stop
