Well, if you really want me to hijack this thread......

There's fully left handed or footed no matter what,
then there's people who are right handed with single hand things like throwing, or kicking a ball but are left handed when using 2 hands like batting, golf etc,
then there's the fully right handed set like me.

There will be the odd one who is a mixture but that stems from them being ambidextrous and have basically trained themselves to do something a certain way. They could easily change to the other side.

I don't really think it's relevant to the discussion on the saw if he's right handed.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Ofcourse if only he had the MK3 workcentre he wouldn't have this problem.

That one had the fence on the right side ( RHS of the saw like the TSC-10HB is designed to do.

Default An Old question but I got my answer

Long time ago Dazzler asked what I e-mailed Stuart about thanks to all for the answers here.

    New I'd find it somewhere

The only thought that I didn't read is the safety switch is on the right side so you'd have to reach out of comfort zones to shut it off.

After watching 4 hours of Triton Video today its obvious that you use it the best way for yourself.

Once again many of the now masters have asked similar questions and got many answers.

Well, I'm sure you should set it up so that it works for you. However, with the 10HB, having the fence on the right means your measurement is still correct even when using a dado set. With the fence on the left, you wouldn't be able to use the tape with a dado.

Why couldn't you replace the tape with a right to left reading one? They are available in stick on format metric and imperial (not both together i don't think but maybe) I used a kreg one.

Guys, this thread is over 2 1/2 years old. I think Dazzler has probably set it up by now

I was addressing my comment to Tex and Pusser. They seem to be answering the original query.

Many have said "do a search" but I don't think any of them expect you to post your thanks at the end of every old thread you dredge up that answers your question

    Guilty as charged, Silent.

I humbly confess my failure to check the date, and solemnly proclaim that, to the best of my ability, I will in the future check the date of threads before pontificating.

    Hows this.

Setting up the new shop and moved the Laguna Table Saw in and started to reassemble it after storage.

Which side does the fence go again......

Googled it and this thread came up. 12 years later and Im still asking myself the same stupid question.....
