    Default Thanks Dad

Here are a few toys I recently recieved from the old man.
    Things he no longer wanted.

Pic 1; Stanley ratcheting brace (A144) and Titan Auger bit set.
Pic 2, Stanley No.4 and No.5 1/2. Both Australian made.
Unsure of the vintage but the old man started his cabinet making apprenticeship in 1967 so I guess they would have been purchased around that time (I suppose I should ask him ).
Believe it or not I didn't actually have a Stanley No.4 until now. I already had a No.5 1/2 but this one has a bit of family history.
Pic 3. Stanley No.71 Router Plane, This one is missing a few bits but I really can't see me using it, will keep it for history reasons though.
Pic 4, Makita 1/2" router, unfortunately not the variable speed type
Believe it or not, I didn't actually have a 1/2" plunge router until now either. I have the Makita 1/4" and two 1/2" fixed base routers, so now I should be prepared for all situations.
Pic 5, My favourite new toy, a Kango Hammer. My $67 Ozito will last a while now that I have this baby to use instead. I am now looking for lumps of concrete to break
There were many other tools aswell.
Lots of concreting tools, trowels etc.
A heap of old Stanley, Marples and Titan chisels (all plastic handled).
About 1000 drill bits, twist, masonry, spade etc.
    Fibro sheet cutter.
    3 spirit levels.
A couple of marking guages, some squares etc.

All in all not a bad score.

    Cheers, Jack
