Trade Tools - Renegade R11800CS Circular Saw
Hi
Can anyone give me any feed-back on this 185mm circular saw?
Or is there a better suited circular saw for the proposed work?
It's only for hobby work and a few small projects cutting 12mm plywood (speaker cabinets).
I like the idea of a solid alloy base plate.
Almost all cuts will be long straight cuts using a guide.
Cheers

I've got a few of the Renegade tools from trade tools and found them to be ok, pretty good value for money overall.

Have been a fan of Trade Tools for many years.
If in doubt, ask the blokes who are running the place, tell them what you want the tool for and how you intend to use it. They are [in my experience] knowledgeable, helpful and honest in what I was told.

With the price of digital protractors and the Wixy type of box angle finder coming down from their previous highs - I would be looking in this direction - just keep a backup set of batteries as they do go flat [takes a while] but they usually do just when you need them.

Thanks for that.
I'll have a look around Melbourne if I get the time.
If not, I will pick something up at my local Trade Tools outlet when I get back.
