Which Saw to Keep?
Hi Folks,
I'm currently clearing out my late-Fathers house and workshop. He was a DIY-person and was part of the generation that never threw anything away so there are a lot of tools to sort through!
Anyway, he had a few different circular saws. I'd like to keep the best one but I'm not sure which - one is a Black and Decker Professional P39-02 and the other is a Triton 235mm Precision Power Saw (currently in a MK3 Sawbench).
Which of these would be regarded as the better saw?
Cheers,
Chris

Probably both worth keeping one as a saw bench the other as a portable, the old Triton stuff was top quality, I've the new Tritron stuff is pretty much rubbish

I would say the Triton would be worth keeping, especially if it is in the saw bench. Unable to comment on the B & D.

I would definitely keep the Triton setup if its in good nick.
... and probably sell the B&D to part fund a newer, smaller dia. saw, for hand held jobs.

Thanks for the replies. I already have a smaller saw (and another medium one which will be going) so I'd say I'll keep the Triton saw/bench combo.
Cheers!
