Wierd dovetail cutter purchase
I have a friend who has even more tools than do I. His latest purchase is a dovetailing machine made by, I think, Griggio. This machine has an unusual dovetail cutter which has been butchered by someone - the outsides of the flutes have been ground and I believe they have somehow added the lip at the bottom as well. Does anyone have any idea where he could get another one? I've attached pictures. In case its not clear its threaded down the centre.

Not sure but all i found in the US market did not look any thing like the bit you have, but what about this link and it is AU I belive. This bit is called an external thread, your bit looks like it has a hole in it and need threads on the other side.
May be thay might have an ideal of where to get a bit like yours

Contact Carb-i-tool - they may be able to do something, either with the existing cutter or from new. Looks like the weirdest cutter I've ever seen.

Have you checked with the Griggio dealer? That bit sure looks like it has been
ground beyond all recognition. CMT might be another source-they make a lot of odd bits for European machinery.

I looked at the Griggio website but even the English version is mostly Italian. I'll look around for a dealer.
