    Question Next Wood Turning Lathe

    Greetings All

It's not everyday when your wife says "Yes honey, you can go and buy new lathe, budget is about $2500 to $3300". I did double check that I did hear her correctly, which I did so my question is to all wood turners. What would you recommend for me to buy? I like doing bowls, plates and vases. Current lathe is Carba-Tec MC1100 model, to me it has been good entry level lathe but I feel like I need more power... and more weight.
    Any suggestions?

You should probably get this moved to the Turning section, everyone there has an opinion
For my two bobs worth I went from a MC1100 to a $2000 second hand VL175 and I haven't stopped grinning since, it's a lovely lathe.
