Andy, thanks for the link & nice work on your shaves in the forum thread. I read on the Daves Shaves site (I think) that you can shim the hole/s with a sliver of wood or leather, apparently the inside faces of the posts (the edges that face each other) are the only ones that are tapered?
Thanks for the link Alf The idea of making one appeals to me, but then so do a lot of things If I get one that is in reasonable shape I won't be in any rush to make one, but if I get an OK blade but stuffed body for cheap I might have a go. Hmmmmmm
