My former business colleagues say that ATO and Borderforce just collated all overseas suppliers and worked progressively down the list from largest suppliers downwards. "You will collect tax for us, otherwise we will stop every parcel from you at the border, charge duty, GST, demurrage and fees, inevitable delays ...." Little resistance. They are still trying to work out how to intercept software downloads...

well gentlepeople I have had a learning day experience.
firstly I dont need a new jigsaw...after all this hoo harr.
Someone mentioned blades, so down to my second home and bought a selection of new jigsaw blades, fine cut course cut etc etc, got home threw ALL old blades out and started practicing with the speed, the dany whats the word ..up down movement etc soft timber, thick, pine, jarrah, MDF if it was in the shed I had a go.
good golly miss molly I may not yet be a perfectionist but hot dam Ive now got a handle, a much better, clearer understanding of this power tool.
Sometimes you just have to admit defeat and work out what your doing wrong and overcome it. Biggest lesson was dont force the stupid tool its only capable of so much. Same as I tell my wife "force me to do that and I'll go off track." same as this slow down just guide it dont force it. I actually finished cutting a piece of old, very old recycled Jarrah about 35mm thick and cut 2 parallel S bends in it and finished up within 2 mm varience.I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds
