    G'day Bob,

Seems to be quite a few who are selling for a 3rd Party.
    AND
They know ZIP about what they have for sale.
I have recieved a similar reply to the same sort of Questions.

Didn't touch any in that situation.

He knows what he is selling. It's people like him that ruin the idea of ebay. It's one thing if people overbid on something, which is often the case, but another if they are being ripped off from the start. He wants $15 postage, for a $14:88 tool.

Bit like some of those items you "Buy now" from Hong Kong for $1 (+$50 postage)

Paul that sounds like the perfect use for it, I don't do much concrete these days but I did promise a neighbour to do some footings for a brick wall so I might convert it into a vibrator hummmmm

It worked and is still working superbly for us but our moulds are only 50mm deep. Traditional conrete vibrators can be poked deep into the mix. If your footings have any significant depth, you might be able to use the same principle but attach the sander to a length of 50mm pipe for example.

Is it essential for footings though, unless they are very visible?

The XU1 grinder has been ok for light around the house stuff. Had one for 2 years and its gone through a few cutting discs so far. It's earnt its keep. Probably the only tool of the range that might be worthy of its price tag, even at $12 I paid for it LOL!
