SWMBO likes to smoke (hot smoke) the mullet (which end do you light? Boom Boom), imparts a nice flavour and removes a lot of the oil.
The Salmon we incorporate into a potato/fish cake with plenty of fresh parsley.
Apart from the usual sawdust try mixing brown sugar with black tea and some fennel seeds (about a tablespoon of each), place on foil in the bottom of an old pan you don't have any respect for, put a cake rack over the top, put your fish on and place on heat, when it starts to smoke put on a lid and continue cooking for about 5-10 minutes, turn off heat and leave to cool for about an hour before removing lid.
Remove fish (or chicken etc) remove foil and mess and dispose of.
Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Yes indeedy. It's nearly time for the annual surf trip. Beats me why I have so much surf gear for one weekend a year.

It'll be Williamsons, or maybe Kila or Inverloch. Just gotta check the tides and the moon.
